Sustainable Practices

Care has been taken to ensure the natural environment remains the star of the show with minimal impact on nature and its surrounds. We achieve this through ongoing initiatives including:

– solar panels on all studio retreats using renewable energy
– collection of rainwater for irrigation to achieve water efficiencies
– the provision of re-usable water bottles for guests, re-fillable amenities from Hunter Lab, bio-degradable slippers and recycling bins in every room
– option for guests to opt out of housekeeping to assist in reducing our environmental impact. Choosing to reuse towels and linens, to minimise laundry, water usage and energy consumption
– Transfers for groups of up to 7 passengers to reduce the amount of emissions
– The planting of new native trees on the property to encourage establishment of indigenous plants on the grounds
