Guided wine tour is subject to availability and runs twice per day at 10am and 3pm. Tours do not run on a Tuesday, 21 to 26 December 2025, 31 December 2025, 1 January 2026 or 26 January 2026.

Paws in the Vines
Escape to The Lane Retreat in the Hunter Valley with your furry friend for a two-night pet-friendly getaway. Set on sprawling vineyard grounds, it's the perfect place for you and your pet to relax, explore, and soak up the serenity of the countryside, complete with a few special treats for your pooch.

Check In Process
At The Lane Retreat we like to do things a little differently, so that you have more time to breathe in the fresh air and our vast, impressive surroundings.
Don't waste your relaxation time waiting in lines to check in. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link that provides all the details of your stay. Simply check in via the GOKI link prior to your arrival and as soon as your room is ready, you will receive a notification with your unique code to allow you access to your room. Letting you have more time to enjoy the beauty that the Hunter Valley has to offer.

We provide complimentary transfers between our properties ensuring a seamless and convenient experience throughout your stay.
Should you have yor own vehicle, The Lane Retreat is a 3 minute drive to Bimbadgen Estate Cellar Door (Wine Tasting, Esca and Bimbadgen Pizzeria) and an 8 minute drive to Emmas Cottage (Alter Wines and function venue).
