Esca Bimbadgen showcases our passion for the Hunter Valley and the abundance of local produce at our doorstep. Featuring an extensive wine list filled with Bimbadgen wines, Esca Bimbadgen exemplifies the unique nature of a winery restaurant. The spectacular entrance suspended above the winery is second only to the view from your table.
Wood Fire Pizza
Relax in our Tuscan-inspired courtyard with a glass of wine and take in the spectacular view from under the shade of our vine-covered pergola at Bimbadgen PIzzeria. Our chefs have created a menu featuring all your favourite pizza classics and a few modern twists we know you will love. Taste the difference of a perfect crust, smoky flavour and mouth-watering toppings, synonymous with a good wood fire pizza!

For well over a century, Hunter Valley wine growers have refined variety, technique and style to achieve universal recognition and acclaim for its long-lived Semillon, full flavoured Chardonnay and elegant Shiraz. Bimbadgen Cellar Door
Embark on a journey down a flight of stairs, past an active winery, to the Cellar Door, where you can fully immerse yourself in the Hunter Valley wine experience. Bimbadgen is renowned for its range of sparkling wines and specialises in three award-winning Hunter Valley varietals: Semillon, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. Bookings are recommended.
Alter Wines Cellar Door
Alter Wines is the alter-ego of the next generation of Hunter Valley Winemakers.
Under the skilful mentorship of celebrated local Winemaker, Richard Done, Bimbadgen’s team of evolving winemakers have crafted Alter wines as a creative outlet to champion premium NSW fruit. A must visit.

Hunter Valley Gardens
Soak up nature at the spectacular Hunter Valley Gardens.
Eight kilometres of walking paths wind their way through 14 hectares of gardens which include over 6000 trees, 600,000 shrubs and over 1 million ground cover plants, man-made waterfalls, statues imported from around the world, murals designed and painted by local artists and much more. The 10 individually themed gardens showcase gardens from around the world utilising both native and exotic varieties of plants.
There are a variety of unique events all year round including the Easter weekend, Mega Creatures, Mega Creatures Night Safari, Snow Time in the Garden and the Christmas Lights Spectacular for all to enjoy.

Hunter Valley Wildlife Park
A local favourite for over 30 years, Hunter Valley Wildlife Park has now evolved to be one of Australia’s most diverse collections of rare and endangered species from across the globe. Home to an array of lions, rare birds, Australian native animals and more including up-close animal encounters.
As a special offer Children have free admission during April (aged 3-15 years) with every paying adult.

We provide complimentary transfers between our properties ensuring a seamless and convenient experience throughout your stay.
Should you have your own vehicle, The Lane Retreat is a 3 minute drive to Bimbadgen Estate Cellar Door (Wine Tasting, Esca and Bimbadgen Pizzeria) and an 8 minute drive to Emmas Cottage (Alter Wines and function venue).
